Phishing Education
Phishing scams are increasingly common in computer systems. For employees who aren't educated on this topic, it can cause major issues with a company's technology systems. Our goal with this educational Phishing Website is to raise awareness of the topic and teach people the different stages/ways of a phishing website, so they can avoid the risks of scams and keep themselves and their company’s computer systems less vulnerable.
What Is Phishing?
Phishing is a type of cyberattack that targets individuals via text, email, phone, or websites to obtain sensitive information. Most of these scams work because they feel urgent, familiar, and take only one click to fall for. Attackers have no need to get past complex firewalls; they only need to get past unsuspecting people. While things like multi-factor authentication reduce the risk of being scammed, phishing can also target 2FA using real-time relay tools to obtain information such as one-time passwords.
